Dr. Tarun Varma is a distinguished Diabetologist, Endocrinologist, and Internal Medicine Physician with over two decades of clinical, academic, and research experience. A gold medalist in MD Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore (2005), Dr. Varma’s career is marked by excellence in both practice and academia.
He began his medical journey at Kasturba Medical College, completing his MBBS (1996–2001) with distinction and pursuing an MD in Internal Medicine (2002–2005). He served as a Resident and then Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine at the same institution until 2010, contributing to medical education and clinical practice.
From 2011 to 2014, he undertook specialized training in Endocrinology as a DNB Registrar at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi—a prestigious center for endocrine care. He later served as Associate Professor of Medicine at NDMCMC and Hindu Rao Hospital. Since 2017, he has held the position of Head of the Department of Medicine and Endocrinology at Rajeev Gandhi Cancer Hospital, Rohini, where he leads comprehensive care in endocrinology and internal medicine.
